When I started to develop products in 2017, my first task was to analyze 386 patents. It was complex and took me more than 2 months. I wanted to extract the relevant technological knowledge out of every single patent and get to know the competition landscape and market dynamics. Today, a detailed patent analysis takes more than 4 weeks or costs above €10,000. Patent lawyers are expensive, patent software is complex in the usage of Boolean links or keywords, and generative AI still hallucinates. An accessible, yet trustworthy tool is missing.

Tobias is a software engineer with a mechatronics background, specializing in industrial informatics and AI. He led digital transformation initiatives in R&D, overseeing both the technical and organizational aspects of complex innovation and FFG-funded projects. With deep expertise in software architecture, algorithm design, and system stability, he now shapes Scopri.ai’s technology as Chief Technology Officer. Tobias is responsible for the entire application stack, long-term code quality, and the integration of advanced data science into real-world solutions. Since over ten years the search and analysis of hundreds of scientific papers, patents and other technical documents has been part of my daily work. Despite automated alerts, regular manual searches etc. the best recommendations usually come from peers knowing my current topics and challenges. What if you have a companion that exactly knows your needs and interests, AND is not just scraping the web but has access to ALL patents (and soon scientific papers). No more general alerts based on keywords or endless scrolling through search results. That’s our mission to help you to innovate faster.

Georg is a physicist with an award-winning PhD in quantum computing and a strong deeptech background. He co-pioneered microwave-optic transducers—key to scalable quantum networks—and has been a regularly invited speaker (e.g. Harvard, IBM, Google etc). His first exposure to AI came through its use in optimizing quantum experiments. With 10+ years of experience in research and innovation, including leadership at Dutch quantum-tech company QphoX, Georg now drives Scopri.ai’s tech strategy as Chief Innovation Officer, keeping our AI ahead of the curve in both academia and industry.
